IMAH First Equine Seminar a  Huge Success 

Iron Mountain Animal Hospital in conjunction with Midwest Veterinary Supply and Boehringer Ingelheim presented an Equine Seminar on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the Maple Creek Restaurant.  The evening began at 6:00pm with a dinner, followed by a general presentation from our guest speaker, Dr. Bob.  The topic was ‘Current Vaccine Protocols for the Equine Owner’.  This was followed by an open forum with question and answer time with Iron Mountain Animal Hospital equine veterinarians.  Thank you to Russ and Dr. Bob for their contribution to our seminar and to our doctors and staff for putting on the seminar.

WELCOME  -  Dr. Jordan Hughey

We are proud to announce the addition of Dr. Jordan Hughey to the veterinary staff of Iron Mountain Animal Hospital!   As an associate veterinarian, Dr. Hughey brings with her interest and experience in both large and small animal medicine and surgery.  She is a 2007 graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.  She originally joined the Iron Mountain Animal Hospital in 2007 and in March 2008 returned to her hometown of Cassopolis, Michigan to enhance her experience in large animal medicine and surgery.  During the past 3 years, Dr. Hughey has worked with both large and small animals and has developed interest and skills in equine medicine, reproduction, lameness, and minor surgery.
